FLEET VOLUNTEERING
It was excellent to see the OK Dinghies and IQ Foilers this week carrying on the fleet volunteering momentum from last year.
This week we'll be calling on the 29er fleet for on water support and the Opti fleet for onshore.

RAMP PACER DASH
The highly coveted and extremely competitive Pacer Dash is returning for its 2025 edition!
Grab your mate or your mum and mark your calenders for Friday the 7th of March. FSC's RAMP section are sure to put on a great event with tight racing on the club pacers in the little pond.

NZ IQ FOIL NATIONALS
3 FSC sailors made the trip across the ditch to race the New Zealand IQ Foil Nationals in Auckland. A massive fleet of 41 boards including many Australians raced a 10 race series with Grae Morris claiming the overall title.

Ben Robinson - 11th Overall
Jack Brazier - 14th Overall + 4th Youth Male

RTYF APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
The extraordinarily generous Ron Tough Yachting Foundation have once again opened applications for travel grants.
If you're planning on traveling interstate or overseas to compete this year make sure to apply. Applications close Friday the 7th of March.

VHF Radio Operators Course - Sat 22 Feb
Interested in getting your radio operators license?
This is an essential course for learning to operate a marine VHF radio. Upon completing this comprehensive course, you will gain radio operator's license. To operate a VHF radio, a license is required by law. Courses will be run at FSC.

VOLUNTEERING
We can't run our championship racing with out our brilliant volunteers. They are the unsung heroes of the sailing club and help facilitate our racing. There's a variety of roles both on and off the water and we'd like to recommend everybody gets involved.
If you are interested or have the time to volunteer on or off the water for dinghy racing we'd love to have you onboard.
