Recfish Yellowtail Kingfish Release

Join us at 10am on Thursday August 4 to watch the Yellowtail Kingfish release of approximately 10,000 fingerlings.

The release involves pumping all the fish from a large tank through a tube into the ocean. All juvenile fish released through this program have their otoliths (ear bones) stained with special dyes to allow captured fish to be traced years later.
