jib & main sAILS

On the third Sunday of each month, the Cruising Section hosts its Sunday Jib & Main Sail.

This is not a race, but a relaxed group sail designed so all yachts return to the Club around the same time, giving everyone the chance to gather afterwards and enjoy a catch-up at the clubhouse.

All yachts are welcome to join, with no registration required. It’s a great way to build confidence and enjoy sailing in a social and supportive environment, particularly for those newer to keelboat sailing.

The fleet departs around 12pm and returns mid-afternoon. Members are encouraged to continue the afternoon on the Sunset Deck, with the Sunday Roast Special available.

All yachts must comply with the equipment requirements prescribed by the Department of Transport (DoT).
