Open Day

What Can I Expect?
Have a go at sailing on a keelboat, explore the sea with our underwater drone, cast a line, check out a range of different types of boats including some of our racing yachts or enjoy a tour of our marina on our Club boat ‘Success.’ Kids are invited to enjoy the ‘Kids Zone’ including all the fun of a bouncy castle, face paints and activity area setup next to our Sunset Deck which will be abuzz with live music and food stalls.

Live Music & Art:
This year we are lucky enough to have 3 outstanding new talents bringing us live music from Michael Dunstan, Sam McGovern &  Ben Lunt on the Sunset Deck between 10:30am – 2pm.

Plus we will also be featuring an Art Exhibition upstairs with more than 40 pieces completed by female artists from FSC. The majority will be for sale, with two artists nominating the Lions Eye Institute and Tangaroa Blue respectively as beneficiaries of sales of their work.

Anyone and everyone! We have a wide range of activities on offer to suit everyone!

No tickets or registrations required! Come and experience the best Fremantle Sailing Club has to offer!

How can we get there?
We have free parking at the club with plenty of bays available on the day – Plus this year we’ll have our club boat ‘Success’ picking up patrons from the Harbourside Jetty (near Cicerellos) on the hour, every hour between 10am & 2pm. 

What does the club offer outside of Open Day?
Our sailing Members enjoy a full calendar of events throughout the season with competitive sailing in several Dinghy classes as well as Inshore and Offshore Racing. Other equally keen groups form part of the Club, with activity sections for those interested in Cruising, Angling, Game Fishing, Diving and Power Yachts. There is also our Pipes and Drums who are the only Pipe Band in the World that is part of a sailing club. You do not need to have a boat to be a Member of our wonderful club.
