REPAIR ROUND-UP | JANUARY – APRIL 2026
Welcome to the second edition of our Repair Round-Up, highlighting recent maintenance and improvement works completed across FSC.
Air Conditioning Upgrade
The rooftop evaporative air-conditioning system servicing the ground floor of the clubhouse has been upgraded, improving cooling performance and system reliability.
External Painting
The southern loading bay docking area was cleaned up and repainted, giving this space a refreshed and more welcoming appearance.
Ramp Grating Upgrade
The ramp adjacent to the Dinghy Clubhouse has been improved, with the damaged grating removed and replaced with a new, safer surface.

Finger Jetty Repairs
Fourteen finger jetties have been replaced and extended to their full length, delivering better access and improved functionality for members. As further finger jetties are identified for renewal, future replacements will also include full-length extensions to maintain consistency across the marina.
Box Channel repairs
Five box channel repairs were completed beneath the marina jetties, addressing wear in key structural elements and helping maintain safe access and long-term durability.
Pile Cap Works
Two pile caps were repaired as part of routine structural maintenance. Pile caps sit at the top of the piles and provide a strong connection between the piles and the jetty structure, helping maintain stability and protect key support points.

Pile Drive Works
Two new piles were installed at the Parmelia Jetty as part of pile driving works. This involved placing new structural support piles into the seabed to reinforce the jetty and support its continued use.
Double Headstock repairs
Four of the five double headstocks were repaired on D Jetty T-Head, helping to reinforce the jetty structures and maintain their integrity.
Potable Water Repair and Connection (RPZ 21)
Since 2019, our focus has been on extending the lifespan of our jetties through targeted maintenance and renewal. These works rely on weather, tides, contractor availability and support from our dedicated volunteer dive team. Below is a site map which highlights some of the jetty works that have been completed.
Fire Service Points Installed – Stage 3 Fire Project
New fires service pipework has been installed along H & G Jetties as part of the Stage 3 fire project. These works represent an important step toward completing the overall fire upgrade, with further works required before the marina achieves full compliance.
