Fremantle Sailing Club is transitioning away from TopYacht, which has served the Club well since its introduction in 2019. We are now adopting a next generation race management system that has already been proven at many of the world’s premier sailing events, and we’re excited about the capabilities it will bring.

This upgrade will help race organisers modernise operations, strengthen competitor engagement, and support increased participation across our sailing programs.

The new platform provides live results, customisable checklists with prerequisites, document uploads, expiry tracking, and approval workflows for each race. It also delivers significantly improved engagement with sailors before, during, and after racing.

Once available, competitors will be able to create profiles for both skippers and crew members. Further details will be announced in the coming weeks

Nautical Cloud Racing App

Competitors: Available on both Apple and Google Play stores, the Nautical Cloud app enables competitors to complete on water check ins and submit finish declarations. Entrants will receive timely alerts before each event, including newly published documents and any updates to start times.

Spectators: After downloading the app, spectators can view the event overview and noticeboard and will receive notifications whenever race status changes or new documents are posted. No Nautical Cloud account is required—only an email address and a verification code.
