Sail Freo returns to Fremantle Sailing Club on 24–25 October 2026, with the Notice of Race now available and entries officially open.

A wide range of classes have been invited, and preparations are well underway for another exciting weekend of competitive racing on the iconic waters off Fremantle.

For more than 20 years, Sail Freo has brought together sailors from clubs across Western Australia for one of the state’s premier ocean-based dinghy regattas. Open to sailors of all ages and experience levels, the event welcomes a diverse fleet, including iQFOiLs, 505s, catamarans, skiffs and many more.

Held annually on the final weekend of October, Sail Freo has become a highlight of the WA sailing calendar, attracting competitors from clubs across the state for two days of outstanding racing and camaraderie.
