As the summer season approaches it’s time to make sure your dinghy is up to scratch.
It is a requirement that all dinghy intending to participate in the summer season get audited in accordance with Australian Sailing’s Part 2 Off the Beach Audit Form.
Not to worry as head coach Chris Charlwood is qualified to sign you off and we are planning an audit day in the near future.
FSC is working with WWA to run an IQ Foil info day. The day will cover the equipment, explanations on training and competing and a chance to see the IQ Foil in action.
When? Saturday 14th September

Get a crew of 3 or 4 together and hire a Club SB20 sportsboat. The Club has 4 x SB20s available for hire for Saturday afternoon racing. There is already a regular SB20 competing in the Dinghy racing, so let’s give them some competition. Click of the button to express your interest.
Parents, guardians and supporters are encouraged to assist with the running of these events. Most tasks are light and easy and do not require any special skills. For those who wish to get more involved, there are specialised roles available such as laying marks and providing on-water support. Not all tasks are on water. You could assist in the Canteen, cook up a BBQ or beach marshalling. Contact the Boating Office to find out more about assisting or joining our group of volunteers by registering online.
