WRAPPING UP THE DINGHY SUMMER SEASON
Last Saturday, the Fremantle Sailing Club dinghy community came together in the Wardroom for the 2025/26 Presentation Night, wrapping up another great summer season on the water.
With close to 100 sailors, members and families in attendance, it was a relaxed and social evening celebrating the people, performances and moments that shaped the season across all fleets. Shared curries returned for a second year and once again proved a hit around the room.
One of the real highlights of the night was the Q&A session hosted by Head Coach Chris Charlwood with our four sailors selected to represent Australia at the 2026 Youth Sailing World Championships this December. Hearing from Alice and Klara Travlos (29er), Jasper Stay (ILCA 6) and Jack Brazier (iQFOiL Youth) was a great reminder of the depth of talent coming through the Club and the hard work that’s gone into getting them to this point.

Dinghy Captain Tim Brazier led the evening’s proceedings, guiding members through the fleet presentations and major trophy awards as we recognised another strong season for the Dinghy Section.
The evening finished with a special presentation from Russi Travlos acknowledging the incredible amount of work Tim and Michelle Brazier have put into the Dinghy Section over the past season. From race days and events through to supporting junior sailors and families, their contribution to the Club has been enormous and deeply appreciated by the whole community.
Congratulations to all fleet winners, placegetters and award recipients. Full results are listed below.
